Dear Mr. Hill:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop FILM 240 and GNDS 212 (F 2014) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I would strongly encourage you to accept Ms. Vatcher€™s offer of further counselling and to follow her advice to seek help through Learning Strategies, located in the Learning Commons of Stauffer Library. I would also advise you to monitor your academic progress very carefully this term and if you feel that you are behind or in danger of failing any further courses, to drop them as needed within the academic deadlines. The last day to drop a winter term course is Friday, February 27.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
