Dear Ruta Odulak:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop GPHY 314 (W 2019) past the academic deadline as well as receive Credit standing in PSYC 370 (W 2019). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request. Your grade in PSYC 370 will appear on your transcript as CR.

I have granted this appeal based on the severity of your extenuating circumstances and due to the fact that they occurred after the winter term 2019 drop date. I am also pleased to see that you attempt to manage your health related challenges by carrying a lighter course load and that you are registered with QSAS who has been able to assist you with both your health and academics. I encourage you to continue to pause and evaluate your progress in your courses prior to week 8 of term and drop courses which are affected by your extenuating circumstances.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
