I have carefully considered your appeal to drop COMM 251, ECON 112, MATH 112 (W 2013) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file and supporting documentation, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal based on the extenuating circumstances outlined but I need to warn you that the appeals process is not meant to be used to manage ongoing challenges. Going forward, I encourage you to reach out to our Student Wellness Services if you would find support from a Counsellor helpful and that you pause and evaluate your progress in your courses prior to week 8 of term and drop courses which are affected by your extenuating circumstances.
