I have carefully considered your appeal to drop POLS 347 (S 2020) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal based on the extenuating circumstances outlined in your supplied documentation and the impact that they have had on your success in this course. I acknowledge that you have chosen to remain in LAW 205 (S 2020) despite your ongoing extenuating circumstances and want to warn you that the appeals process is not meant to manage an ongoing situation. An appeal based on the same circumstances may not be granted in the future.

Going forward, I encourage you to reach out to our Student Wellness Services if you would find support from a Counsellor helpful. I also suggest that you pause and evaluate your progress in your courses prior to the drop deadline of the term and drop courses which are affected by your extenuating circumstances.
