I am sorry to read that you have had some difficult health issues this summer and I have carefully considered your appeal to drop FILM 260 (S 2020) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page. Please ensure you assess your progress in your courses prior to the drop date deadline and if you find that you have fallen behind in your attendance, readings or assignments, it is your responsibility to drop by that drop date deadline. Appeals for late drops are typically only granted when a problem occurs, or becomes acute, after the drop deadline.
