I was sorry to have read in your letter of appeal of the passing of your grandmother during this past summer. No doubt that has been difficult for you and your family and I will certainly grant your appeal to drop CISC 102 (S 2020) past the academic deadline based on that circumstance as well as the impact your grief has had on your studies.

I am pleased to see that you have been receiving counselling this summer Connor and I encourage you to continue to seek support from your counsellor as needed.
