Dear Tristan Underwood:

I have reviewed your request to complete 15.0 units on an International Letter of Permission for your BA (Honours) degree with a Major concentration in Applied Economics at Corvinus University in Budapest. As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that €œnormally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen€™s.€ However, as Queens does not have an exchange agreement with Corvinus University and that you have obtained the support of the Economics Department and created a strong academic plan, I agree to this request.

You must now apply for an International Letter of Permission through the International Programs Office and I would strongly suggest that you remain closely connected with this office so that you can be made aware of potential disruptions to your international studies if they shall happen.

Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science Office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.

Finally, please be advised that a student can complete a maximum of 54.0 transfer units towards their BA Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3).

I wish you well in your Winter term studies.

Yours sincerely,

Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
Associate Dean (Academic)
