Dear Colleen Bumstead:

I am sorry to have read about the family-related challenges that you experienced near the end of the Winter 2020 term. I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ANAT 316 (W 2020) past the academic deadline and for Credit Standing in HLTH 493 (W 2020). After reviewing your file and the information provided by your HLTH 493 instructor regarding these circumstances, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal based your account of the unexpected health issues that your grandfather experienced while you were trying to complete your Winter term courses. I acknowledge that these circumstances began after the drop deadline and that you found yourself with additional responsibilities that directly impacted your ability to successful complete them. I want to commend you Colleen, for remaining connected with your instructors while these issues were happening.

Your grade in ANAT 316 will be replaced with a DR notation and your grade in HLTH 493 will be replaced with a CR notation.
