I was sorry to read of the circumstances you outlined in your letter of appeal. No doubt this has been difficult to deal with and I will grant your appeal to drop ANAT 100 (F 2019) past the academic deadline based on those circumstances.

Going forward, I encourage you to pause and evaluate your progress in courses during week 7 of the term and if you have been unable to keep up with the course requirements or feel that dropping a course is in your best interest, you should do so by the week 8 drop date deadline.

You may not be aware of our Academic Consideration service which is available to students who may need short term accommodation such as an extension if they encounter short term challenges.
