Dear Matthew Wry,

Your appeal requesting to add ECON 112 (W 2021) past the academic deadline has been granted on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academic). Tuition fees for this course will be charged to your student account once it has been added to your transcript.

It is your responsibility to catch up on any late or missed work in the course and the instructor is not obligated to accommodate any student due to late registration. I would suggest you contact your instructors to discuss the best way to catch up in this course. Please ensure that you monitor your academic progress very carefully and drop courses as needed within the academic deadlines. Registering late for a course is not considered grounds for appealing to drop after the published deadline.

Matthew, the Undergraduate Chair of Economics noted that you hope to change your Plan to Economics and that you were advised that you will have to demonstrate evidence over the next year of being able to meet the requirements for entry into a 4th year seminar before the department would consider admitting you to a BAH plan. I wanted to re-iterate that information to ensure you are fully aware of the process for an eventual and hopeful Plan change into Economics.

You will be added to OnQ once you are registered, which should be within the next couple of days.

Best of luck in this course.

Sincerely,

(for) Jenn Stephenson
