After careful consideration of the information you outlined and the information I have received from the instructor, I have decided to grant your appeal.
The instructor has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed and your grade in WRIT 125 will appear on your transcript as B along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.
William, it is important that you carefully assess your progress in your courses prior to the drop date and if your circumstances continue to be a barrier to complete your course requirements, you should drop courses by week 8 of the term. The appeals process is not meant to manage ongoing life related challenges.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
