I am sorry to have read of the family-related extenuating circumstances that you experienced during the Fall 2020 term and understand how difficult that studying remotely must have been while being directly impacted by COVID19. I have reviewed your appeal to drop CISC 124, CISC 203, CISC 204, and COMM 200 (Fall 2020) after the academic deadline, and I have decided to grant your appeal.

I am glad that you are now able to resume your studies and I wish you the best with your Winter 2021 courses. Going forward, I suggest that you familiar yourself with the published deadlines at the beginning of each term and make sure that you carefully assess whether you are able to manage your studies along with life challenges before the drop date deadline.
