Dear Alexander Traynor,

I am sorry to have read of the extenuating circumstances that you experienced during the Fall 2020 term and understand how difficult that studying remotely must have been while dealing with this. I have reviewed your appeal to drop HIST 206 (Fall 2020) after the academic deadline, and I have decided to grant your request.

I commend you for continuing in your studies with a reduced course load for the Winter 2021 term and I wish you the best in completing these courses. Going forward, I suggest that you familiar yourself with the published deadlines at the beginning of each term and make sure that you carefully assess whether you are able to manage your studies before the drop date deadline.
