Dear Vivekha Kengatharan,

I am sorry to have read of your ongoing health issues and the impact that they have had on your classes. I have reviewed your appeal to drop MATH 121 (S15), ANAT 215, CHEM 281, HLTH 230, STAT 263 (F15), GEOL 106, HLTH 331, PHAR 100, PHYS 117 (W16), ANAT 315, BIOL 102, CHEM 281 (F17), ANAT 100, MATH 121, PHAR 100, PHGY 170, and PHGY 210 (W18) after the academic deadline, and I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal as I understand that you were not appropriately accommodated for your ongoing health issues during the terms that you are appealing from. I was glad to read that you have now established appropriate supports within QSAS and I am confident that going forward, you will continue to remain connected with your advisor for help managing your academics along with your health-related challenges.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

Sincerely,

Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
Associate Dean (Academic)
