I have reviewed your appeal to request to drop ECON 250 (Winter 2021) after the academic deadline and for Credit Standing in ECON 222 (Winter 2021). After careful consideration of the information that you provided in your appeal letter and the information supplied by the instructor of ECON 222 regarding their course, I have decided to grant your appeal.

I acknowledge that your academic ability was compromised near the end of the Winter term while you were impacted with family-related challenges. I have granted this appeal due to the timeline and severity of these extenuating circumstances.

Your grade in ECON 250 will be replaced by a DR notation and your grade in ECON 222 will be replaced with a CR notation.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
