I have carefully considered your appeal to drop FILM 240 (Fall 2015) past the academic deadline and after reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal as I have received confirmation from I.T. Services that you did not access this class in Moodle during the 2015 Fall term. I also acknowledge that this was your first term at Queen??s University and you may not have been aware of our regulations regarding deadlines.

I see that you are currently enrolled in a class for the 2022 Winter term. Going forward, I am confident that you will make every effort to check your schedule in SOLUS as well as to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web website and to ensure that courses are dropped on SOLUS successfully before the posted drop deadline.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
