I have carefully considered your appeal to drop GPHY 227 (W21) after the academic deadline and to receive an extension of an incomplete grade in GPHY 370 (W21). After reviewing your documentation and the information supplied by your instructor, I have decided to grant your request.
I recognize that you were provided an Incomplete Grade in these courses by your instructors and that you were unable to complete the outstanding requirements within the 2021 Summer term due to the extended impact of your health issues as confirmed by the documentation that you supplied.
Your grade in GPHY 227 (W21) will be replaced with a ??DR? notation on your transcript.
You are permitted up to April 30, 2022 to complete the outstanding components of GPHY 370 (W21) and it is your responsibility to contact your instructor to make the appropriate arrangements. I want you to know that granting this extension was a very lenient decision. The information that I received from your instructor indicated that you had not completed any components of this course to date. I have granted this request due to the very gracious offer from your instructor to accept the outstanding work late.
Going forward, I suggest that you pause to evaluate the impact of your health on your academic progress during week 7 of the term and make sure to drop courses that you have fallen behind in or find the material too difficult in by week 8 of the term.
