I have carefully considered your appeal to drop POLS 212, POLS 262, and SOCY 275 (W22) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I want you to know that this was a lenient decision as it is your responsibility as a student to evaluate your academic progress before the academic drop deadline of the term and make sure to drop courses that you have fallen behind in or find the material too difficult in. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students.

I acknowledge that you want to take some time away from your studies to work on your recovery and I commend this decision. When you are ready to return to your studies, I suggest that you consider registering with Queen??s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) so that you can work with an Advisor to manage the impacts of your health on your academics on an ongoing basis.
