Dear Jaida:

I am sorry to read that you struggled to manage this course along with challenges related COVID19. I have carefully considered your appeal to drop DEVS 220 (S 2022) past the academic deadline and after reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Going forward, a good practise for all students is to carefully evaluate your progress in your courses prior to the drop deadlines, and if you have fallen behind or are finding the material difficult, you should drop courses prior to those deadlines.

Another tool to manage your academics in addition to dropping a course by the drop deadline is our Academic Consideration service. A student can request short term consideration if they need more time to complete an assignment or had to miss a class due to documented extenuating circumstances.
