Dear Kayla Muise,
Your appeal request to add PSYC 100 and SOCY 122 (FW2022/2023) after the academic deadline has been granted on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academic). Tuition fees for these courses will be charged to your student account once they have been added to your transcript.
It is your responsibility to catch up on any late or missed work in the courses and the instructors are not obligated to accommodate any student due to late registration. Please know that the instructor of PSYC 100 has informed us specifically that students cannot make up missed work however, they can have 4 of the weekly labs dropped. This would mean 2/4 have been used. Catching up on missed videos and readings would also be your responsibility. I would suggest you contact the instructors to discuss the best way to catch up in these courses.
Please ensure that you monitor your academic progress very carefully and drop courses as needed within the academic deadlines. Registering late for a course is not considered grounds for appealing to drop after the published deadline.
You will be added to OnQ once you are registered, which should be within the next couple of days.
Sincerely,
Academic Appeals Office
