I was sorry to read of the circumstances outlined in your letter of appeal and I have carefully reviewed your request to change the grades you received in DEVS 100 and POLS 110 (FW 2021/22) to Aegrotat standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted, and the information supplied by the instructors about the learning outcomes achieved and course deliverables completed, I have decided to grant your appeal.

The instructors have submitted replacement grades based on the work you have completed as follows:

DEVS 100 (FW 2021/22) will appear on your transcript with a grade of B+ along with the notation ??Aegrotat: estimated grade?.

POLS 110 (FW 2021/22) will appear on your transcript with a grade of A- along with the notation ??Aegrotat: estimated grade?.

I encourage you to continue to seek support from your health care team including your QSAS Advisor who can help you manage both your health and academics.

Going forward, I suggest that you pause and evaluate the impact of your health on your studies prior to week 8 of term and to drop courses if necessary by the drop deadlines.
