I have carefully considered your appeal to drop COGS 100 (S22) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I acknowledge that you have been given an Incomplete Grade in this course by your instructor, and that you are unable to complete the outstanding work during the current 2022 Fall term due to the continued impacts of your extenuating circumstances. I have granted this appeal due to the timeline and academic impacts of these circumstances as supported by the documentation that you supplied. Upon your return to studies for the 2023 Winter term, I suggest that you pause to evaluate your academic progress during week 7 of the term and make sure to drop courses that you have fallen behind in or find the material too difficult in by week 8 of the term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students.
