As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that ??normally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen??s.? However, after reviewing your file and the support that you??ve received from your department, we will allow you to take 9.0 units of ECON courses at the University of Calgary during the 2023 Winter term.
Please know that a full-time student can enroll in up to a maximum of 18.0 units per term, including courses enrolled in at another University.
You may now apply for a Letter of Permission for these 9.0 units through SOLUS.
Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science Student Services office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
Finally, please be advised that you are allowed to complete a maximum of 57.0 transfer units toward your BA Honours degree program (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3) with a maximum of one-half less 6.0 units of the total required for your Specialization plan.
