Dear Vansh Panwar:

I have carefully considered your petition to drop CISC 223, CISC 360 and LLCU 214 (F22) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I commend you for reducing your course load before the academic drop deadline and I acknowledge that your remaining courses have continued to be impacted by extenuating circumstances since this date. I am glad to read that the instructor of CISC 235 is able to accommodate you so that you can remain in that course and I have granted this petition to drop CISC 223, CISC 360 and LLCU 214 due to the timeline and severity of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by the documentation that you supplied.

Going forward, I would suggest that you consider registering with Queen??s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS), if you have not done so already, so that you obtain ongoing support from a Counsellor who can help manage the impact of your health on your academics.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

Yours sincerely,

Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
Associate Dean (Academic)
