I am sorry to have read in your petition letter that you were not well this term, and I have carefully considered your request to drop HIST 105 (F 2022) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this petition based on the circumstances you outlined as well as the documentation you submitted from your health care provider. I see that you have successfully dropped your full year courses and if you have not done so already, you may want to submit this Academic Change Form where you would indicate that you are withdrawing from Queen??s. Submitting that form may help you receive a refund on your Winter term student activity fees:

If you plan to resume your studies Queen??s University for Fall term 2023, please submit this ??Return To Studies? form in May 2023 if possible, so we can re-activate your student status:

Should you return to Queen??s, I encourage you to carefully evaluate your progress in each of your courses during week 7 of the term and if you have fallen behind or you are not performing in a course(s) to your satisfaction, you should drop courses by the week 8 drop deadline.

A student can request consideration if they need more time to complete an assignment or had to miss a class due to documented extenuating circumstances.
