I have carefully considered your petition to drop ECON 222 (F22) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I acknowledge that you were not able to write the final exam for this course in December due to an unexpected illness, and that you were also not able to write the deferred exam in January according to the documentation you supplied. I have granted this request due to the timeline of your extenuating circumstances. If you continue to be impacted by these circumstances going forward, you should pause to evaluate the impact of your health on your classes during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.
