I have carefully considered your petition to take more than 6.0 units of courses on an International Letter of Permission during the 2022/2023 academic year. After reviewing your file, I have decided to deny your request.
I acknowledge that you want to take 9.0 units of electives on a Letter of Permission for the 2023 Winter term along with your 12.0 units of currently enrolled Queen??s courses. I see from your transcript that you had taken a 3.0 unit course at Queen??s during the 2022 Fall term and was not successful in completing that course. I have denied this request as taking more than 18.0 units in one term is a very heavy course load and not required for your program/plan.
I understand that this is a difficult decision, however I am glad to see that you are repeating ECON 452 during the current Winter term. I would suggest that you consider taking your final 9.0 units of electives during the upcoming 2023 Summer term at Queen??s. Registration for Summer term courses will begin on February 6, 2023 and you can see the available courses in SOLUS right now.
