Dear Ms. Woodley:

I have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in ENGL 100B and LING 100B (W 2015) to Aegrotat standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal.

The instructors of these courses have already submitted replacement grades based on the work you have completed, which will each appear on your transcript as B- along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.

I noticed from your transcript that your grades in CLST 102 and PHIL 153 are low as well. If you have completed these courses, I would be willing to consider granting Credit standing in these courses if you would like to make this additional request. You may do so by emailing asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21-days of receiving this decision letter. Information on Credit standing can be found at www.queensu.ca/artsci under Academic Appeals and if you have questions you may contact the Faculty Office directly at 613-533-2470.

Sincerely,

Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
Associate Dean (Studies)
