Dear Madison,
I have reviewed your petition to drop DEVS 100, PHGY 216, STAM 200 (W22), ANAT 100, BCHM 218, PHYS 118 (S22), ANAT 100, PHGY 170 (F22) and ANAT 309 (W23) after the academic deadline and for Credit Standing in PHAR 100 (F22). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.
Your grades in DEVS 100, PHGY 216, STAM 200 (W22), ANAT 100, BCHM 218 and PHYS 118 (S22), ANAT 100 and PHGY 170 (F22) and ANAT 309 (W23) will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript.
Your grade in PHAR 100 (F22) will be replaced with a CR notation on your transcript.
I have granted this request due to your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by the documentation you supplied. Going forward, it is your responsibility to pause and evaluate the impact of extenuating circumstances on your classes during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.
I also suggest that you remain connected with your Queen??s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) counsellor to help manage the impact of your health on your academics.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
Sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
