I have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in BCHM 218 and PHGY 214B (Winter 2015) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal. Your grades in these courses will appear on your transcript as CR.

I would like to note that I am exercising some leniency in this case and granting the appeal based on your self-declaration and self-diagnosis of depression. However, any further appeals submitted to the Faculty Office will require proper documentation from a healthcare professional that confirms the full timeline and severity of your illness as well as the impact that it had on your studies.
