I have reviewed your petition to drop HIST 229, PHIL 224, PHIL 256, PPEC 400 and POLS 354 (W23) after the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

For your information: our office will process the late drop in your SOLUS account and no further action from you is required. Once dropped, the course will appear as ??withdrawn? in your schedule and a ??DR? notation will be placed on your transcript once the Winter term grades are released on May 12.

I have granted this request due to the severity and academic impacts of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by the documentation you supplied. Upon your return to studies in the Fall term, it is your responsibility to pause and evaluate the impact of extenuating circumstances on your classes during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term.
