I was sorry to read the challenges you outlined in your petition letter, and I have carefully considered your request to extend the Incomplete Grade in GPHY 415 (FW 2021/22). After reviewing your file, I have decided grant your petition based on the feedback we have received from Professor Scott.
Professor Scott has kindly agreed to accept this final paper with the specific condition that you will be responsible for submitting a draft paper to him by August 1, 2023 for feedback. The final paper will be due to him by August 31, 2023. This is the final deadline, after this point he is not willing to extend the IN any further. For your information, Professor Scott will be away on research until early July so will not be in communication of any kind. If you have any questions concerning the project paper before his return, you should direct them to George Bevan (beven@queensu.ca).
Jane, this is a very lenient decision since you have been offered multiple extensions, but Professor Scott would like to see you graduate with this degree so is willing to support this petition as am I.
