As part of the standard process when appealing to the Board of Studies, the Associate Dean (Academic) reviews your appeal submission. I have carefully considered your appeal to waive the deadline to petition the requirement to withdraw for 1 year, I have decided to grant your request.

Given the explanation of your circumstances I have decided to overturn the original decision and grant your appeal to waive the deadline to appeal. This means that you can now submit a petition to the Associate Dean regarding your requirement to withdraw.

Please note that the appeal system a document-based, and as such I would expect a student to submit supporting documentation with their appeal.
