Your grade in this course will be replaced with a ‘DR’ notation on your transcript.

I have granted your request as I acknowledge that you did not receive feedback from your mid-term in this course until after the drop deadline. Going forward, I want to remind you that as an upper year student, the week 8 drop deadline allows for plenty of time for you to assess your progress based on smaller course components such as weekly quizzes so that you can make the decision to drop classes if you find that you cannot keep up with their academic demands. The drop deadlines, outlined in the “Important Dates” section on the Faculty of Arts and Science web page, have been established to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.
