I have carefully considered your petition to drop CHEM 281 (F22) past the academic deadline and for Credit Standing in GPHY 209 (F22). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Your grade in CHEM 281 (F22) will be replaced with a DR notation and your grade in GPHY 209 (F22) will be replaced with a CR notation on your transcript.

I have granted this request due to the timeline and academic impacts of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed within the documentation you supplied. Please know that it is the student’s responsibility to pause and evaluate the impact of extenuating circumstances on their classes during week 7 of the term. If they have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, they should drop the course by week 8 of term.
