Upon review of your documentation and the information it contains stating that you have been in counselling for two years for depression, generalized anxiety, and panic disorder, I have decided to also drop ENIN 140, HLTH 332 (S 2021); HIST 228, HIST 282, PHIL 296, PSYC 221 (F 2021); ENIN 340, HIST 253, HIST 318, PHIL 301 (W 2022); and HLTH 102 (F 2023). Your grades in these course will be changed to the DR notation as well on your transcript.
Nikola going forward, you will be responsible for managing the impact of your condition on your academics proactively and not after the fact via the petition process. I encourage you to carefully evaluate your progress in each of your courses during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, outlined in the “Important Dates” section on the Faculty of Arts and Science web page, have been established to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.
