I have carefully considered your petition to drop CISC 124 (F23), CISC 204, CISC 221, CISC 220 and GEOL 106 (W24) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this request due to the timeline of extenuating circumstances as confirmed within the documentation that you supplied. Your grades in these courses will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript.

Going forward, it is the student’s responsibility to pause and evaluate the impact of extenuating circumstances on their classes before the drop deadline. If they have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, they should drop the course by the deadline.
