I have carefully considered your request to drop PSYC 100 (FW23/24) after the academic deadline and for a Deferral of an Exam in CHEM 114 (S24). After reviewing your petition and the information supplied by the Department of Chemistry, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this request due to the timeline and academic impacts of extenuating circumstances as confirmed within the documentation you supplied. Your grade in PSYC 100 (FW23/24) will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript and it is your responsibility to connect with the Undergraduate Chair of Chemistry, Professor Beauchemin, to make the appropriate arrangements to write the exam during the 2025 Summer term, prior to August 31, 2025.
