According to Academic Appeals and Petitions regulation 1.5.1. student’s who have graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Science are not eligible to submit a petition after 15 business days of the conferral of their degree. However, I have granted this request due to the timeline of extenuating circumstances as confirmed within the documentation you replied.
I will also allow you to drop BIOL 422 and CHEM 222 (W24) after the academic deadline without submitting an additional petition. As the documentation that you supplied confirms academic impacts during the 2024 Winter term, your grades in these courses will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. If there are additional courses from the 2023/2024 academic year that you want to petition, you may submit a new request through the online portal within 15 business days of receiving this decision.
