Petition Letter
I am a second-year sociology student at queens university. I am enrolled in all sociology courses and want to graduate in May 2025. I have been on the wait list for SOCY 235 for many weeks in my 1st-place position. After consulting with the sociology department, I was told I would be added to the class as I was in the first position on the waitlist. I have been attending all the lectures for SOCY 235 and believe I should be allowed in the class as I already have notes on the lectures and need this course for my degree. I would greatly appreciate it if I could be enrolled in this class. I am determined to excel in this course and enjoy the material.
