Academic Plan
To succeed academically in this course, I have emailed the professor of CISC 121, Erin Meger, asking for any coursework they can provide prior to enrollment and I will attend the lectures from this point forward. As stated previously, I have taken the exclusion to CISC 121, and APSC 143. To my knowledge, an exclusion is put in place so that students cannot take two courses that teach essentially the same content as an elective. I feel APSC 143 has sufficiently prepared me for CISC 121 with the understanding that the course content should be relatively similar. I currently am enrolled in only three courses this semester, so I have more spare time to work on catching up on this course. Furthermore, I have never had less than seven courses a semester in my entire undergraduate degree coming from Engineering and I feel as though I can take on more courses now so that I do not have to be so far behind in my third year. I have also taken ELEC 278, Fundamentals of Information Structures, which is another computer science course that Mathematics and Computer Engineering has made me take.
