Petition Letter
To Whom This May Concern,
I am petitioning to drop my Fall 2022 courses past the deadline as I was not able to afford my tuition last semester. I did not drop my courses right away as I was still saving money and trying to find a way to be able to pay my tuition. Upon realizing I would not be able to do so for the semester, a restriction was placed on my account preventing my from dropping my courses on SOLUS until I had paid my tuition. I was only able to make the payment in January 2023, and ended up doing so to remove any restrictions from my account and to fulfil my tuition. Upon realizing I would not be able to make the payments, I no longer participated in the courses as I would soon be dropping them. I did not write any exams, thus I feel that the F grade is not a depiction of my academic efforts as I was not able to drop my courses on time due to a tuition restriction. I appreciate your consideration.
