Petition Letter
Explanation regarding Extenuating Circumstance:
Significant flare in symptoms related to a permanent, episodic psychiatric diagnoses (for which I am registered with QSAS) that has affected my academic performance. These affects began late January to early February lasting until early March, though as I outline this I am still actively working on recovering and re-coordinating myself both in a personal sense as well as academic.
This resulted in missed deliverables, including absences and non-submission of assignments. Upon consultation and coordination with student support and student wellness, dropping a course to reduce my course load in order to best focus my attention and efforts, giving attention not to overwhelm myself with additional elective commitments and courses, on completing the overdue deliverables and ensure prompt completion the rest of my course work the remainder of the term.
