Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
My appeal is to drop the class ENG100 as I was unable to submit my last essay, prepare and attend for the final exam due to my father admitted to the hospital for a cardiac arrest. He was on life support for 3 weeks where my family went through much pain and I was unable to tend to my school tasks. I was staying in the hospital for most nights as his condition worsened. It was not an easy time for me and my family so I was unable to dedicate any time to schooling.
Due to personal obligations to take care of legal and familial tasks from the incident, I am unable to resume the course until a later date which I would like to do again when I am ready. My plan is to sign up for the BA for English program so I do hope to get the opportunity to be able to apply again and dedicate my full efforts as I was unable to control the circumstances of the last previous months.
