Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am petitioning to drop MATH 281 as a result of challenges I faced this semester due to my ADHD.
ADHD does not usually have this much of an impact on my schoolwork but early in the semester I was in the process of switching medications and this unfortunately had a large negative impact on my mental health. I became very depressed as a result and was not able to engage in a lot of my course work. I had hoped that in not dropping the class earlier, I would be able to catch up and pass the class, but this is upsettingly not the case.
I have maintained regular appointments with my doctor, psychiatrist, and counsellor since and am looking forward to the rest of my time at Queen's.
