Petition Letter
I have attached the petition letter as a document (labelled Petition Letter) as this format does not support the contents of the letter. I sincerely appreciate your understanding and kindness in this matter. As instructed, the letter outlines the timeline of the extenuating circumstances I experienced, the courses that I am petitioning that were impacted during that time, why I did not drop the courses before the academic drop deadline of their respective terms, the courses to get Credit Standing (CR) and the courses to get DROPPED (DR). In a seperate document, I have attached the letter from a professional (labelled Letter From a Professional) confirming the timeline of the extenuating circumstances and a clear indication of the ways in which the extenuating circumstances directly affected my academic performance. I have also included the Letter from a Professional in the Petition Letter for your convenience.
Note: All the courses impacted did NOT fit into the cover sheet of the petition website. I had emailed the petitions office regarding this and was instructed to include this note in my petition letter, and highlight that the courses did not all fit into the cover sheet. All the courses impacted are written in the attached letter document for your reference, along with their grade, the term they were taken and their drop/CR request.
