Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean,
I am writing to petition to have my withdraw waived. Following this appeal, I will include documentation from a professional, which will provide everything in detail.
I have decided to appeal because I truly believe this is what is best for me and my future going forward. It is obvious that my academic performance has not been one to fit standards, however, I have had extenuating circumstances that have impacted this immensely. I have had many chances to take time off, but the reason why I haven't is because I know this is something I can do with every fibre of my being.
I understand this is hard decision, but I am a person that does not lack determination, perseverance, and intuition. My intuition has always told me to push and push - this is no exception. I do not take my academic lightly, this is something I will treat extremely seriously and I know wholeheartedly that I can and have already jumped over this hurdle in my life.
My life has not been without its struggles and adversities, but those adversities I have tackled head on and not allowed myself to falter. Having my petition granted, it would mean the world to me because it would mean I would work even harder, but with much more clarity than I've ever had before.
