After much exploration and self-reflection, I have discovered a profound interest and clear direction in the fields of Human Geography and Political Science. Throughout my studies, I have had the opportunity to delve into various subjects and disciplines, but it was in these two fields that I found a genuine passion and resonance. The intricate interplay between human society, its spatial dynamics, and the political systems that govern it has captivated my intellectual curiosity. I have come to recognize that by pursuing these disciplines, I can gain a comprehensive understanding of the complex relationship between societies and the physical spaces they inhabit, as well as the socio-political factors that shape their interactions. In the Human Geography courses I have taken, I have been enthralled by the exploration of how space, place, and environment influence societies, cultures, and economies. From examining the impacts of urbanization to studying the complexities of migration patterns, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the multidimensional aspects of human life and its connection to the physical world. Simultaneously, my exposure to Political Science courses has illuminated the mechanisms through which power, governance, and public policy profoundly impact societies on local, national, and international scales.
With this newfound clarity, I am eager to channel my energies into pursuing a specialized academic path that combines Human Geography and Political Science. By focusing on these disciplines, I aim to develop a comprehensive understanding of the intricate dynamics between societies, political structures, and the spaces they occupy.
