Petition Letter
Hello, hope you are well.
I am asking to drop my summer classes as I have a family emergency and I have to leave the country. My grandfather is terminally ill, and his condition recently worsened extremely and I now have to go to Italy, where he lives and is being taken care of. I am going with my mother and my sister. We have only booked a one way ticket as we do not know for how long we will stay as it depends on his condition. We found the news out on July 1st which is why I was not able to drop the classes in time. I can include proof of travel as well as a letter from any family member. I understand this is not ideal and I plan to take these courses again during the winter/fall. One of the classes, BIOL102 I was just retaking in hopes of getting a better grade. Please let me know if there is anything else I should do.
