Petition Letter
Hello,
I am writing to submit a petition to late drop my class taken over the summer of 2023. I suffered the loss of my grandmother and wasn't able to attend her funeral due to the fact that she lived in India and I live in the USA. This loss was especially hard for me because she was incredibly involved in my childhood and I spent a lot of time with her. She suffered three strokes, the last one deeming her completely immobile. My father had to go to India and endure the pain of losing his mother. I plan on taking this course over the winter semester.
